The introduction of Assurant® TechPro comes at a time marked by an increase in demand for smart tech support. With U.S. renters increasingly seeking smart amenities in their homes, they are turning to building management for assistance with tech-related issues, such as device set-up issues, troubleshooting electronic issues and Wi-Fi connectivity problems. 

Proprietary consumer research conducted by Assurant revealed that 20 percent of maintenance calls from residents to property managers are related to tech support issues. What’s even more compelling is 86 percent of renters believe that integrating a tech support service into their building could notably enhance the positive brand perception for property management companies.
