Moore was nominated for this annual award based on her commitments to the green industry, as well as her work within the community. Moore was selected for the 2020 EverGreen Award by an independent panel of green industry professionals.
Moore has been an outstanding leader in the green real estate community. Some of her achievements within the community include spearheading the greening of several Multiple Listing Services in the area, creating courses about green building benefits, teaching the NAR Green Designation course to Realtors® and joining community green awareness events.
She continues to further her education with more high performance building courses and adding to her knowledge base to help clients make choices about sustainable and energy-efficient living.
She also writes energy savings posts on her blog, www.GreenFLBroker.com, drives an electric car and powers her home with solar panels and a Tesla battery back-up system.
As a board member of the Florida Green Building Coalition since 2010, Moore has devoted much of her time to educating the public about the importance of sustainable and resilient building and retrofitting, for both residential and commercial.
She recently created the Realty, Appraiser, Builder Outreach Committee to bring awareness to the different sectors about the additional values associated with high performance building.
