LandSouth Set to Break Ground on Addison Pointe in Melbourne

MELBOURNE, Fla. - LandSouth Construction, an award-winning Jacksonville, Fla. based general contractor specializing in multifamily, senior housing and mixed-use development will break ground next month on Addison Pointe, a luxury apartment community in Melbourne, Fla.

Developer Integra Land Company, Lake Mary, Fla., chose architect Charlan, Brock & Associates, Maitland Fla., for the four story, wood frame, apartment community located on Delaney Steer at the corner of North Wickham Road and Parkway Drive, across from Wickham Park.

The experienced LandSouth team working on the 362,245 square foot development is led by project manager Mark Ondish, field superintendent Kyle Greer and project administrator Krista Frazee.

“As we continue to see healthy job growth, new tourist attractions along with tech and service sector employers setting roots across Brevard County, we are striving to deliver a multifamily community for our client that elevates the area’s rental housing options,” said LandSouth President and CEO, James Pyle.

LandSouth Construction is currently working on apartments, senior living and mixed-use developments throughout the Southeast including Charlotte, NC., North Augusta and Charleston, S.C., Gainesville, Boca Raton, Tampa, Bradenton, Kissimmee, Jacksonville, Boynton Beach, Delray Beach, Sanford, ChampionsGate, Winter Springs, Port St. Lucie, Melbourne and Orlando Fla., Chattanooga, Tenn., Hixon, Tenn., and senior living developments in New Port Richey, and Ponte Vedra.

Nestled on 30 acres, Addison Pointe will offer 370 residences in eight buildings with elevators and a classic exterior aesthetic combined with modern interior design.

With six spacious floor plans ranging from 704 to 1,409 square feet, Addison Pointe will feature one, two and three-bedroom apartment homes.

Interior features lend a comfortable feel and the textural architectural details give a sense of warmth, with sophisticated energy including granite countertops, custom cabinets, stainless steel appliances, in-home washer/dryer, tile backsplash in kitchens, wood plank floors and private balconies.

The amenity space has also been designed with quality and convenience in mind.

Resort style amenities in the gated community include a modern stand-alone clubhouse that will house a fitness room with state-of-the-art equipment, yoga/group fitness room, cybercafé and sports lounge. Residents will enjoy time in the pool or grilling at a pavilion.

Addison Pointe is within walking distance of Wickham Park’s nature trails, playground, swimming lakes, bicycle roadways, campgrounds and more.  Melbourne is part of Florida’s famous Space Coast, home to Canaveral National Seashore.

“We’re proud to have worked closely with the Integra Land Company to bring a new luxury residential project to Melbourne,” added Joe Passkiewicz, LandSouth’s Senior Vice President – Development.  “The location is tremendous, with easy access to parks, the beach, a golf course and shopping for everyday essentials.”
