Florida’s 2017 ENERGY STAR Award Winners Announced

Each year, EPA honors a group of businesses and organizations that have made outstanding contributions to protecting the environment through superior energy efficiency achievements. 

The Florida Green Building Coalition (FGBC), the leading certifier of green projects in the state, salutes Florida’s seven winners.

Parmenter, Miami, Fla., is a real estate investment, management, and development firm that manages more than $1 billion dollars in assets. Parmenter is receiving ENERGY STAR® Partner of the Year— Sustained Excellence recognition for its commitment to continuous improvement of energy efficiency by renovating underperforming properties and repositioning those properties for acquisition.

Jacksonville Building Science, St. Johns, Fla., is a privately-owned company with expertise and certifications in the fields of energy rating and building science. Jacksonville Building Science is receiving ENERGY STAR® Partner of the Year— Sustained Excellence recognition for its support of ENERGY STAR certified homes.

SkyeTec Energy Rating Services, Jacksonville, Fla., is an energy rating and indoor environmental consulting company that provides third-party inspections for residential and commercial construction projects. Since 2008, SkyeTec has provided energy rating and ENERGY STAR® certification services. SkyeTec is receiving ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year—Sustained Excellence recognition for its support of the ENERGY STAR Certified Homes program.

Welbilt, Inc. (formerly Manitowoc Foodservice), New Port Richey, Fla., is a world leader in commercial foodservice kitchen equipment solutions with a portfolio of brands.
